Chris started with Service Argos, Inc. in 1991 as a staff accountant, became the Director of Finance in 1996 and was made Chief Financial Officer of CLS America, Inc. with the merger of Service Argos, Inc. and North American CLS, Inc. in 2006. On July 1, 2014, Chris was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer. He currently sits on the Board of Directors as the President. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Accounting from American University in 1982. He has an active license as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Maryland.

Zak started work at CLSA as a contractor in 2013, fabricating both hardware and software for the Thorium VMS units. He joined the staff in February 2014 to handle technical customer service for both the LRIT and VMS applications and was also in charge of the shipping and receiving of inventory. Zak now focuses primarily on technical issues on the Thorium VMS product, while still handling responsibilities for LRIT.

Julien is a Software Engineer with 10 years of experience in software development, technical support and systems administration. After graduating with a Master's degree in Networking Administration and Security in Montpellier, France, Julien spent his career working in France, Belgium, Canada and the US. He worked for CLS America in 2008-2009, then for CLS France in Brest in 2010-2012, before coming back to the DC area in July 2014, to help on software developments. Julien is a big fan of the Washington Capitals, and US sports in general.

Billy joined CLS America, then Service Argos, Inc. November 2000 as a Computer Systems Operator. In September 2004 he was promoted to Technical Analyst with responsibilities to assist the growth and development of Argos applications. Billy has Computer Science BA degree from Gallaudet University, Cum Laude and President’s distinct recognition for success in studies.

Originally from France, Mathieu earned Master’s Degrees in Electronics and Information Engineering (City University of Hong Kong), and Electronics and Computer Engineering (ESEO, France). The development of CLS America’s new products requires a perfect understanding of the whole system, including advanced satellite communication, Android handheld systems, and data processing center. Mathieu’s main function is to be the bridge between Hardware and Software worlds, and to develop tomorrow’s products.

Thomas joined the Environmental Monitoring team at CLS America in early 2016. He brings ten years of sales and marketing experience in the underwater tech realm previously working for an Argos satellite tag manufacturer. Some of Thomas' favorite activities include snorkeling with whale sharks, nadando en cenotes, assisting in customer tagging operations and educating customers about our Products & Services. At CLS America, Thomas is charged to ensure that your stories are told, that you are aware of internal product development, and making sure that our development ties to your wants/needs.

Michael is pioneering new methods for real-time fisheries data collection and display. He is a former fisheries observer and senior manager at NOAA and has an extensive background in fisheries science and management.
Michael came on board with CLS America in 2008 to develop new products and markets for fisheries scientists and managers. With the CLS America team, he developed entirely new satellite data communications products that have become the leaders for the entire VMS product class. Michael has helped make CLS America the leader in US VMS markets. As Vice President, Michael oversees product and market development for all of CLS America's business sectors, and is adding new products to the CLS Group line. He is a former fisheries observer and senior manager at NOAA and has an extensive background in fisheries science and management.

Tish started with North American CLS, Inc. in 1999 as Contracts Administrator. She then became Manager of the Business Services Group. In 2006, with the merger of Service Argos, Inc. and North American CLS, Inc., Tish advanced to become Accounting Manager. Tish manages the accounting, contracts and business processes related to all applications. She holds a BA from the University of Maryland.

Lisa's employment with CLS America (formerly Service Argos) began in 1984. She spent more than 20 years working with Argos customers before migrating to a sister company, North American CLS, focusing on customer service for VMS, Commercial, Argos Value-Added, and NCM projects. Since 2010, Lisa is the Manager of the US ASP LRIT Help Desk. She, also, provides support for the Iridium Services Department and the Strategic Securities Programs Division.

While active in the IT industry for over 30 years in various capacities, Derek has been an employee of CLS America, Inc. (formerly Service Argos, Inc.) for over 15 years. His current position at CLS America is Systems Administrator, which includes hardware, software and networking support for the CLS America staff and computer center infrastructure. Some of his other responsibilities include technical support and trouble-shooting of CLS America clients' issues, computer systems monitoring, and software licensing and management.

Aaron has joined CLS America as the Logistics Manager, with over 20 years of experience in the Logistics field both in large and medium sized facilities for various types of commodities and companies. Having had strong young interests in exploring Marine Biology, a lifetime fondness for the water and passion for crabbing Aaron couldn’t be happier to join CLS. Exposure in Supply Chain with companies such as Sears, Fila, Harley Davidson and other large accounts have offered practical and technical experiences which will help streamline the warehouse functions and present a dedicated representative to handle shipping and receiving functions at CLS America.

Amanda joined CLS America in 2015 as direct support for VMS activation and customer service. Prior to working at CLS, Amanda was a field research technician on a variety of studies, including prairie waterfowl monitoring in ND for Delta Waterfowl, forest monitoring in TN for the Department of Forestry, and biodiversity surveying in VA for NEON, Inc. In 2013 Amanda took a break from wildlife conservation work to live in Paris, France as an au pair for a year. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2010 with a degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Science and a minor in Forestry. Wildlife conservation and global awareness are her main passions, and she is happy to combine them at CLS America.
Crystal joined the CLSA team in April of 2017 after relocating from a communications specialist position near Towson, MD. Having earning her Bachelor's in Public Relations & Journalism from Monmouth University and currently attending American University for her Master's, Crystal is excited to further solidify CLS America as a top environmental technologies provider. Through expansion of clientele and strategic campaigns utilizing market research, she intends to gain more publicity to new and existing technologies. A passionate nature enthusiast, Crystal enjoys hiking, traveling and playing outdoor sports whenever possible.
Jason works as a software engineer in addition to writing new software for evolving business requirements. As a published Android developer, he enjoys solving difficult problems. Jason spent four years working as a systems analyst before deciding to focus primarily on programming. He received an Information Technology Leadership BA with concentrations in Computer Science and Database Management Systems from Washington & Jefferson College. In his free time, Jason enjoys supporting lacrosse.
A recent graduate of Virginia Tech, Joe joined the CLS America team in August of 2016 to provide technical and customer support for the Fishing Department. When not in the office, Joe enjoys spending his free time fishing throughout Maryland.
Julien is a software engineer mainly focused on developing C# and .NET applications. He graduated from the engineer school 3IL based in Rodez in the south of France in 2015. Afterward, Julien worked for a small company in Rodez where he learned how to create websites and applications. Julien became a member of the CLSA team in 2016 focused on improving the back-end of the Thorium application. Julien is passionate about technologies but most of all, he's a big basketball fan!
In 2012, Maxime earned his degree in Engineering & Computer Science. Upon graduation, Maxime worked for four years as a software engineer in the region of Marseille, France. In February of 2017, Maxime joined the CLS America team as a VIE contractor after training at CLS France. He now works as part of the development team for Thorium products as well as a software engineer for Android technology.
After leaving France, Laureen joined the CLSA team in 2014 and is now the lead Android Developer. Laureen earned her Associate's Degree in Mathematics (University of Bordeaux, France) and her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Networking and Information Systems (Telecom SudParis, France). She then moved to Buffalo, NY as an exchange student at the University at Buffalo. Laureen is passionate about traveling, sports and playing music. She is an avid fan of soccer, particularly the Paris Saint Germain team!
